Roger Hannah acted on behalf of a private management company comprising 10 self-contained flats in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire.
We undertook an initial inspection to review the condition of the property, the design, and the cost options to provide a report detailing the options with respect to a long-term solution for the roof and rainwater systems.
As an employer agent, I manage the process from design through consultation with the local authority, building control, planning, and conservation officers to ensure a fully compliant scheme from tender through to completion and sign-off. Additionally, we made sure that each of the residents was fully informed and represented at the design and construction stages to enable a collective and inclusive approach to the scheme.
The completed scheme provided the owners with a cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing asset to the satisfaction of the stakeholders, which is now wind and watertight for a guaranteed period of time with an appearance that is in keeping with the local conservation area.
