Over the last 2 weeks, the Business Rates Team at Roger Hannah has inspected over 2 million square feet of client property, advising on both the 2017 and 2023 rating lists and helping them secure savings.
The 2017 rating list will close on March 31, 2023. Any business wishing to challenge their assessment must have lodged a proposal before this date, so don’t delay.
On April 1, 2023, the next revaluation of properties for business rates will take effect, placing new rateable values on more than 2.1 million properties across England and Wales.
