Over the last 2 weeks the Business Rates Team at Roger Hannah have inspected over 2 million sq ft of client property advisng upon both the 2017 and 2023 rating lists and helping them to secure savings.
The 2017 rating list will close on 31 March 2023, any business wishing to challenge their assessment must have lodged a proposal before this date, so don’t delay.
On the 1st of April 2023, the next revaluation of properties for business rates will take effect, placing new rateable values on more than 2.1M properties across England and Wales.
