Acting on behalf of the landlord we advised on the renewal of a 15 year lease held by a national manufacturing occupier on a 22,000sqft. After protracted negotiations a new lease was agreed at an increased rent representing a 30.13% increase which was well above client expectation.
Acting on behalf of a local Charity and occupier of a large office facility in Stockport for the provision of social care we advised the tenant on a re gear of their existing lease and expansion of their offices by over 2,000sqft to 6,500sqft and at the same time achieving an overall nil increase in the rent.
Acting for the landlorof a large convenience store situated on a prominent main commuter route in South Manchester we recently agreed a review of the rent achieving an increase of in excess of 8%.
Roger Hannah were instructed by the tenant of a popular Manchester City Centre restaurant following receipt of a rent review notice proposing an increase of circa 50% on the annual rent. This was also to be backdated to the rent review date which was 3 years prior and could apply for the remainder of the lease.
Following successful negotiations the rent review was agreed at a nil increase, representing a saving in the region of £80,000 of rent over the remaining period of the lease to the delighted of the client.
