Roger Hannah & Co happily entered 3 relay teams and one individual triathlete into the JLL Property Triathlon North, jointly sponsored by The Peel Group, on July 29th, 2016. This event is celebrating its 10th year and is firmly established as the second-largest one-day event in the UK.
The event has raised nearly £1.7million to date for charity.
A total of 515 finishing times were logged between individual triathletes and relay sprint teams; however, some were disqualified. We are very proud of our teams who took part in the event, supported the cause and enjoyed the day, even when the pressure was on to produce a good time. Their competitive times are below for you to see for yourself.

Paul Partington (Head of Property Management) commented:
Personally, I thought the organisation of the event was excellent and there was a really good atmosphere down at The Quays. I enjoyed competing in the relay and it was good that we were able to field a few teams, as well as having Jeremy in the individual event so all in all, we were quite well represented. It is lovely to see a sizeable check for The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, as they are a charity that I have run a marathon (and a 10k dressed as their mascot!) for in the past and am thinking of doing so again this coming November.
Louis Babington (Property Administrator) noted:
I thought the event was fantastic, with excellent team work and motivation to do well. As part of a team it was challenging and nobody complained. It was a hugely excellent day and would definitely compete again for Roger Hannah & Co.
Jeremy Banks (Land & Development) stated:
The overall feedback on the event to the organisers was that it was a resounding success and people intend to come back in even greater numbers the following year.
Watch out next year as Roger Hannah & Co will be placing a Special Ops Relay Team in the Triathlon Sprint to produce a seriously competitive time. our eyes are on the prize.
Huge thanks go out to JLL and the Peel Group for their organisation and support throughout the long ‘run up’ to the first starting line. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
