On behalf of the landowner, Roger Hannah, the site known as Britannia South in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, has been given to logistics providers, Response Logistics Limited. Responses have taken the facility, which comprises a 1 acre plot of storage land plus a 2,000 sq ft industrial unit on a new 5-year lease.
Julien Kenny-Levick, Director at Roger Hannah, commented, “The letting of this site further demonstrates that demand for well-located external storage facilities remains very strong in the Manchester/M60 locations, with many occupiers outbidding one another in order to secure sites.”
