More than 75% of the properties offered for sale at the latest Edward Mellor and Roger Hannah auction day sold for in excess of their guide prices.
Held at Lancashire County Cricket Club’s Emirates Old Trafford ground, the auction included properties in Greater Manchester and Cheshire and resulted in sales totaling £3.2 million.
Lots included Bury Old Road, Prestwich, a 13-bedroom detached former multiple-occupancy property that beat its guide of £275,000 to sell for £293,000.
