Angela JuszczykBA (Hons) MSC MRICS Director
As a Compulsory Purchase specialist Angela is experienced in acting on behalf of both claimants and acquiring authorities in transport, infrastructure and regeneration schemes. Angela advises on all aspects of a claim from assessing market value, preparing budgets/claim documents to negotiating compensation.
John has been with the firm for over 20 years and a Director for 10 years. During this time he has worked closely with our property management clients believing in a ‘hands on’ approach to help get the most out of their property investments in an ever changing market.
Jonathan HarrisonBSC (Hons) MRICSDirector
Jonathan heads a team of RICS Registered Valuers who specialise in undertaking valuations of both commercial and residential property for a variety of purposes including loan security, strategic management and taxation. In addition, we also undertake Expert Witness instructions for litigation purposes.
Julien Kenny-LevickBSc (Hons) MRICSDirector
Julien has over 20 years experience in the Industrial Property Sector in the North West advising client’s including Asda, Lidl and Gazeley. Acting for both Landlords and Tenants.
Julien prides himself on his dedication to ensuring the best possible outcomes when either disposing or acquiring property interests.
Mark has over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of Commercial Property and Management, in that time he has acted for a wide range of Private and Major Investment clients enabling them to effectively manage their property assets through proactive and effective delivery. Mark specialises in lease renewal and rent reviews work, Rating Appeals and all aspects of Landlord & Tenant works including dispute resolution expert witness and 3rd party submissions, attending at Valuation Tribunal and Court.
Neil O’BrienBSc (Hons) MRICS IMAPS Director
Neil is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor and as the Head of Building Surveying he ensures high quality delivery with a positive outlook at all times. Neil Provides over 20 years commercial and residential experience working throughout the UK and Europe.
Stephen LashmarBA (Hons) MRICSDirector
Stephen joined in 2014 bringing with him a wealth of experience in the Compulsory Purchase and Valuation sectors. He has been employed within the North West property market for over 20 years, working for a range of Practices from regional and national firms as well as client side. Stephen has experience in providing valuation and strategic property advice to a wide variety of clients from both the private and public sectors.
Tom specialises in providing acquisition, disposal and consultancy advice relating to land for development purposes. His experience extends across a full spectrum of sites from less than one acre through to 20 plus acres. He advises a range of clients including local authorities, national house builders and individuals affected by development. Tom has over 10 years’ experience working in real estate investment advisory, specialising in development funding transactions across a range of sectors including distribution, student housing, hotels and aviation.

Steven has over 13 years’ experience as a Building Surveyor delivering a full range of Building Surveying services, for both internal and external clients, including Dilapidations, Commercial Building Surveys, Contract Administration and related Design and Specification work
Dan RodgersHead of Agency
With 10 years’ experience in commercial property with a particular focus on office, industrial and retail, Dan has excellent knowledge of the local markets and occupiers within Manchester, Cheshire and the North West as a whole.
Dan advises on all matters of disposal and acquisition for clients including Magnus, M-Seven, Property Alliance Group, Emsix Holdings, Hurstwoods, MCR, Aggmore, Tameside Council and Cheshire East Council.
Mike WoodsHead of Facilities
Mike has been employed in Property Management & Facilities since 1988. Mike has worked as a Facilities Manager delivering a full range of services for the Health & Safety Executive at their NW offices and for an industrial landlord managing a large portfolio in Trafford Park. For the last six years Mike has worked on a varied portfolio including, large residential, retail, industrial & city centre office accommodation.
Nicola Russell-SmithFMAATHead of Property Finance
Nicola has been employed in the property industry since 2004 and heads up the Property Finance Team at Roger Hannah.
During this time, Nicola has worked in the accounts environment for a collection of clients with different structures, from large corporate bodies to individuals, together with a variety of properties such as shopping centres and Industrial units, to offices and residential flats. Nicola’s experience includes monthly client reporting, CIS and VAT returns, resolution of complex queries and calculating a daily priced index fund.
Mathew TattumBA (Hons) PGCE Head of Marketing
Having excelled in many individual aspects of the marketing industry since 2008, Mathew’s tenacity and skill set redesigned this department back in 2014, by creating a marketing strategy that engaged the company to react to changing practices, ensuring our online & traditional representation reflects the quality of our Brand.
Additionally, Mathew changed the face of Roger Hannah, quite literally by supporting the company throughout the full re-brand project of 2019 and also delivered this new website.
Holly BamfordBA (Hons) ACCAFinancial Accountant
Holly, coming from a leading North West based firm of Chartered Accountants, joined Roger Hannah in 2017 as our Financial Accountant,
Her honed experience in financial reporting, business analysis including tax for SMEs and individuals has found its benefit with us here. Not forgetting Holly’s dedicated years as an Accountancy lecturer, brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.
Lynn WoodAICM Cert Dip Credit Controller
Lynn has worked as a Credit Manager since 1996 for both in house Landlords and Managing Agents in the Property Management Industry, dealing with commercial and residential rent collections on behalf of a wide range of clients from Blue Chip corporations to independent family run businesses.
Lynn covers a multitude of Credit Control Facilities which include, Enforcement Agent Collection, Solicitor and County Court Action keeping abreast of changes on legislation such as CRAR. Lynn has been very successful in the collection of commercial and residential rents during challenging times for Landlords, regularly collecting over £2M a month.
Karen EvansClient Accountant
With over twenty years client accounting experience in property management finance Karen holds vast experience in her role.
Karen’s management portfolios have included residential and commercial properties including large scale shopping centres and retail parks.
Sally BrackenridgeClient Accountant
I have worked for over 30 years in various accounting roles with experience within the finance, manufacturing and property/construction sectors.
Since 2011, I have worked as a Client Accountant in the Property Management Departments of both national and regional Chartered Surveyors. My responsibilities involve administering the financial side of the properties under management including raising charges on tenants accounts, paying rental income over to our clients and being their first point of contact should they have any queries.
With over 10 years’ experience in commercial property, specialising in analysis and data, Andrew has gained a wealth of experience advising clients including property owners, funds, corporate occupiers and local authorities. As part of the auction and commercial agency team, Andrew continues to advise private and corporate clients on their disposal instructions. Andrew is currently working towards becoming a chartered surveyor.
Matthew GodwinBSc (Hons) MScSurveyor
Matt has over 6 years’ experience as a Building Surveyor following over 4 years’ experience working in Facilities Management within the Public Sector.
Matt started his Consultancy career at Faithful+Gould in Newcastle and has experience delivering projects in both the Public & Private Sectors as Contract Administrator/Employer’s Agent. Survey experience covers Access Audits, Fire Risk Assessments, Pre-acquisition Surveys & Condition Surveys.

Robert has invested his focus in property since 2010 gaining valuable experience with previous corporate clients including Morrisons and Co-op Food. As a Commercial Agent, Robert continues to advise for numerous private and corporate clients on their disposal and acquisition instructions.
Steve CapstickBSc (Hons) MRICS MCIOB Surveyor
Steve has over 15 years Building Surveying experience whilst working in the UK and Australia. He has gained a broad range of skills whilst working in the Commercial, Industrial and Residential sectors. His various roles include, Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent, Party Wall, Dilapidations and Building Surveys.
Louis BabingtonFacilities Administrator
Louis joined us in 2015 and he is responsible for managing our repairs and maintenance for our entire portfolio. The role requires a cool head and the ability to work under pressure. Louis is also heavily involved in the Health & Safety side of operations advising Landlords of their responsibilities and requirements.
My role allows me to work closely with credit control, client accounts, the purchase ledger clerk and property management.
One of my main daily responsibilities is the receipting of tenants payments received and allocating monies effectively to stop tenants receiving unnecessary arrears letters. I work closely with Lynn Wood our credit controller.

Tim Claxton is an experienced development consultant and agent having spent over two decades working in the field. Advising across the full range of use classes his experience has involved large strategic sites, complex city centre projects and everything in between.
Demetri PapaioannouBSc (Hons) MRICSSenior Surveyor
Demetri has over 5 years’ experience in the commercial property sector specialising in Commercial Lease Advisory and Business Rates. Over the course of his professional career Demetri has been involved in carrying out Lease Renewals and Rent Reviews on behalf of landlords and tenants on a variety of commercial property, both regionally and nationally. Demetri has also acted as expert witness on a number of occasions in respect of rent review and lease renewal disputes. Demetri has been actively involved in carrying out appeals during the 2010 and 2017 Rating Lists and has represented clients in Valuation Tribunal hearings

Paul has 16 years’ experience in the property industry, beginning in residential estate agency with a major national firm, including the management of branches in Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Paul’s experience was gained in General Practice, advising on a variety of matters including commercial agency, landlord and tenant, surveys, valuation, auctions and land and development. At Roger Hannah, Paul specialises in providing valuation advice on both residential and commercial property.

Claire MatthewsBA (Hons) MASurveyor
Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy and has recently completed a Master’s Degree in Real Estate and Property from The University of Sheffield. Claire has previously spent time outside of University gaining work experience at Roger-Hannah across the different departments within the firm developing her interest in commercial property. Claire has now joined the Lease Advisory team and is working towards her RICS qualification and is assisting in the Lease Advisory Team on a verity of projects.
Rachel CarterBSc (Hons)Surveyor
Rachel studied Planning and Development Surveying at Northumbria University and worked in the planning team at Peel Holdings after graduation before joining Roger Hannah. She is now working towards her RICS qualification involving a wide range of projects including development consultancy, compensation advice, lease negotiations and residential and commercial valuations.
Tom EllisBA (Hons) MScSurveyor
Tom completed his Master’s degree in Real Estate and Property Management at Salford University. Whilst studying towards his Masters, he worked for a Manchester based Chartered Surveyors specialising in Business Rates. Tom now works within the Valuations team dealing with a wide range of projects in both the Residential and Commercial sector whilst working towards his RICS qualification.
