Roger Hannah

Roger Hannah & Co Manchester 10K Challenge

In February 2015, David Edgar, a member of the team here at Roger Hannah & Co., passed away.  David had been diagnosed with cancer in 2014, and despite an initial response to his treatment, he sadly died as a result of complications.

We have decided to celebrate David’s memory by running the ‘We Love Manchester’ 10K in July.  As part of this, we are looking to raise money for The Christie Hospital, which provided David and his family with much-needed support throughout his illness.

Although 10k may not seem far for many, the majority of the team are far from “seasoned” athletes, and training is now in full swing.  The run will therefore pose quite a challenge for most of us!

We are seeking to raise as much money as possible to continue the work that The Christie already does, which includes providing support to cancer sufferers and their carers and developing cancer prevention, treatment, and research. If you are able to donate, no matter how much, please click the link to our Just Giving page.  All donations are very much appreciated.  You will also find a link to The Christie so that you can see the important work they currently do.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.  We hope you can help support the team and the wonderful and important work The Christie does.
