Planning permission has been granted for a new 32 unit housing development at Andrew Street Compstall near Marple Bridge, across the road from The Compstall Mill Estate.

The 1.9 acre site sits on the edge of the River Etherow opposite Etherow Country Park. It has been derelict for over 10 years. The scheme involves part new build and part reuse of the existing heritage buildings.

Selling agents will be Roger Hannah & Co and Preston O’Herlihy who are now seeking expressions of interest from developers.
